Receptionist

We have a rare opportunity for a receptionist to join our team at Ireland’s only full-time teaching pool. This is a fun environment where the work is often varied, sometimes challenging but rarely boring! The reception is a busy environment, sometimes noisy and always friendly.

Full on the job training will be provided.

The Position

Your responsibilities will include;

  • Dealing with customer enquiries, by phone, email and in person

  • Liaising between teachers and customers

  • Booking classes & taking payments

  • Updating the booking system

  • Keeping the lobby & changing rooms clean and tidy between classes

You will be a reliable and motivated individual used to working on your own initiative and able to multi-task effectively. Experience using Microsoft excel & word is preferred with attention to detail essential.

Preference will be given to applicants with an interest in swimming and/or experience in a similar role.

Hours of work typically Tue - Fri 15:30 to 19:30 / 20:00. Option to include Saturdays 08:30 to 16:30. Subject to discussion for the right applicant.

Swimming Teacher

We have an opportunity for qualified swimming teachers to join our team in Ireland’s only full-time teaching pool.

The position is open to Level 1 or 2 teachers. Previous experience essential, we will train you up to The Water School system. Water Safety Ireland, STA and Swim Ireland qualifications are welcome.

Core classes currently offered are evenings, Wednesdays & Thursdays. Preference is given to applicants with flexibility to cover additional classes throughout the week. Additional hours may be available, subject to discussion for the right candidate.

The work is fun, rewarding, sometimes challenging, never boring!

Rates of pay are commensurate with qualifications & experience. Immediate start available for the right candidate.

The successful applicant will;

  • Be sympathetic and empathic

  • Enjoy working with children and adults

  • Be self motivated and able to plan classes

  • Complete the Tusla child protection course

  • Be fully Garda vetted or application submitted

  • Lifeguard qualifications preferred
