Swimming Teacher

We have an opportunity for qualified swimming teachers to join our team in Ireland’s only full-time teaching pool.

The position is open to Level 1 or 2 teachers. Previous experience essential, we will train you up to The Water School system. Water Safety Ireland, STA and Swim Ireland qualifications are welcome.

Core classes currently offered are evenings, Wednesdays, Thursdays & Fridays. Preference is given to applicants with flexibility to cover additional classes throughout the week. Additional hours may be available, subject to discussion for the right candidate.

The work is fun, rewarding, sometimes challenging, never boring!

Rates of pay are commensurate with qualifications & experience. Immediate start available for the right candidate.

The successful applicant will;

• Be sympathetic and empathic

• Enjoy working with children and adults

• Be self motivated and able to plan classes

• Complete the Tusla child protection course

• Be fully Garda vetted or application submitted

• Lifeguard qualifications preferred
